East Asian Studies Student Receives Princeton Program Award

EAS Student, Emma Brignall, Receives Princeton Program Award

Congratulations to Brown sophmore and East Asian Studies student, Emma Brignall. This summer Emma participated in the Princeton in Beijing (PiB) program. For her exceptional work in the program she was awarded the PiB Academic Excellence Award.

The following announcement excerpt comes from the Director of the Chinese Language Program at Princeton University, Jing Wang, Ph.D.,

"Emma’s remarkable academic achievements, her enthusiasm for exploring Chinese culture and society, and her collaborative spirit and willingness to assist others throughout the 8-week program embody the qualities we value in an exemplary student. Thank you for recommending Emma to PiB. We wish Emma continued success in her studies at Brown University and welcome other Chinese language learners at Brown to participate in the Princeton in Beijing program in the future."
