This multidisciplinary concentration is designed to serve undergraduate students wishing to attain reasonable fluency in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and/or Vietnamese and specialized familiarity with selected East Asian subjects.

We are thrilled to welcome Chuanhui Meng as a Visiting Professor. A postdoctoral fellow in East Asian Studies, her specialties include modern and contemporary Chinese film and culture. This fall Professor Meng will be teaching East 1308 Transnational Chinese Cinema.
