Celebrating Language and Culture: Chinese Speech Contest Showcases Student Voices

The contest took place at MacMillan Hall 117, featuring fourteen contestants, two student MC hosts, and approximately sixty participants ranging from CHIN0100 to CHIN0912. The topics covered students’ experiences learning the Chinese language and culture, the campus life, and their perspective on the intercultural differences.

Additionally, we had the pleasure of inviting Harrison Yang for a solo performance on the Erhu, a traditional two-stringed Chinese musical instrument, for the Award Ceremony, which served as the conclusion of the Speech Contest.
