Andrew Meyer received his BA in East Asian Studies from Brown University and his PhD in East Asian Languages and Civilization from Harvard. He is the co-translator, with Harold Roth, Sarah Queen, and John Major, of "The Huainanzi," and translator of The Dao of the Military: Liu An's Art of War." He is a Professor of History at Brooklyn College, the City University of New York.
